Yub nub, friends! Comedian Kevin Bartini (The Colbert Report) joins me this week to watch Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi for the first time.

Kevin explains how he has missed the movie over the years and recalls a time when I inadvertently nerd-shamed him. There is also some talk about Ewoks and the great lengths to which George Lucas went to make sure that folks like Kevin never get to see the film in its original form.

Follow Kevin on Twitter and check out his new stand-up album, The Unintentionally White Album, on iTunes. And here's an article on Kevin's efforts to get W121st in Manhattan renamed "George Carlin Way."

We kick off the new year with the only movie about a bouncer with a philosophy degree from NYU. Stephanie Palermo joins me to watch the Patrick Swayze classic Road House for the first time.

We discuss the film's questionable fashions, bizarre tough guy dialogue, and dub Dalton the Olivia Pope of the bouncer, er, "cooler" community. Also, Stephanie offers an intriguing theory about the leading ladies of Swayze.

Holiday Movie Month-tacular draws to a close with Cracked columnist and ManCave Daily editor Brendan McGinley joining me to watch the Bill Murray classic Scrooged for the first time.

We discuss whether or not it's the greatest Christmas movie of all time (it is), recall the many adaptations of A Christmas Carol, and marvel at what people from the '80s thought the future would look like. And how does Garfield factor into all of this? You'll have to listen to find out!

Check out Brendan's work on Cracked and CBS ManCave Daily. Also follow him on Twitter

Holiday Movie Month-tacular kicks into high gear with this week's guest, Eleanor Kagan from the excellent Bonnie and Maude podcast. Eleanor joins me to watch Ralphie, Flick, and all the rest in A Christmas Story for the first time.

We talk about what makes the movie an enduring seasonal favorite, Eleanor's own unique holiday movie traditions, and exactly how long we'd last watching Ralphie pine for a BB gun for 24-hours straight. Plus, Eleanor shares the four major life lessons she learned after finally watching this beloved holiday classic.

Be sure to follow Eleanor on Twitter and listen to Bonnie and Maude. The Batman Returns episode is particularly entertaining.
