This week trash cinema aficionado Matt Carman (I Love Bad Movies) joins me for a special episode I'm calling "(Bad) Movies My Friends Have Never Seen." Will Matt survive watching the notorious Stallone/Travolta joint Staying Alive for the first time?

Matt and I ponder whether Tony Manero is the worst character in popular fiction and try to make sense of his starring turn in the insane Broadway extravaganza Satan's Alley. Plus Matt shares his thoughts on the difference between a "good/bad" and "bad/bad" movie and we spot a Miami Vice homage a year before the debut of Miami Vice. Freaky!

Check out I Love Bad Movies, the zine that Matt does with his wife Kseniya Yarosh of the Bonnie and Maude podcast. Brooklynites will also want to check out the Brooklyn Zine Fest which they organize every year.

A taste of Satan's Alley.

Bob Zmuda's stories about Saturday Night Fever/Staying Alive screenwriter Norman Wexler are insane.

Break out the cannoli and horse heads, because artist and animator Jon Roscetti (The Venture Bros.) is on the show this week to watch The Godfather for the first time.

Jon reveals how he's managed to miss this obscure tale of a humble Italian family and shares some of the extreme reactions people have had when they discover that he's never seen The Godfather

Follow Jon on Twitter and check out his blog for news on upcoming projects.

This week we get classy with actor/filmmaker Kelly Sebastian on the podcast to watch the Audrey Hepburn classic Breakfast at Tiffany's for the first time.

Kelly talks about why she's avoided the movie over the years and notes some parallels between Holly Golightly and the character she plays in her new film Forever Into Space. We also swap stories about our time working at NYC video stores and reminisce about the days when everyone from Kim Gordon to Tara Reid used to rent VHS tapes.

Check out Kelly in Forever Into Space, the new film she stars in and helped to produce. (Don't forget to like it on Facebook.)

Read her essay on the end of Kim's Video.

You can also follow Kelly on Twitter and visit her website to learn more about her work. Like, for instance, her excellent performance in the short film Young Stan

Just in time for our 20th(!) episode, our very first guest Matthew Buntley is back to watch Pulp Fiction for the first time.

Matthew talks about watching the Tarantino classic fresh after 20 plus years of parodies and cultural references. We discuss the film's lasting impact and reminisce about the many, many terrible Tarantino clones that littered art houses during the late '90s. (Albino Alligator, anyone?)

Our LA sojourn continues with my favorite futuristic noir/Daryl Hannah vehicle. Yes, Buzzfeed's own Kirk Damato is on the podcast this week to watch Blade Runner for the first time.

Join us as we discuss the film's lasting effect on sci-fi and hear Kirk's awesome story about running a Star Wars-themed half marathon.

Follow Kirk on Twitter and check out his work on Buzzfeed. You can see photos from the Star Wars marathon he took part in here

(The above photo is one of many I took of the Bradbury Building, aka Sebastian's apartment building. It currently houses offices, none of which -- one would assume -- manufactures replicants.)

Never forget that time Daryl Hannah sang back-up for Jackson Browne and Clarence Clemons while filming them with a giant video camera

We continue our run of snow-themed episodes with the modern animated classic that just won't go away. Yes, writer/hilarious person Brian Steele is on the show this week to watch Frozen for the first time.

Brian and I attempt to get to the bottom of Anna, Elsa, Olaf and the rest's stranglehold on pop culture and I give Brian a staggeringly hard quiz entitled "Real or Fake Frozen Song Parody."

Visit Holt and Steele for all your Brian Steele and Holt Bailey-related comedy needs. Also check out their work for Funny or Die and follow Brian on Twitter

This week we kick off a block of winter-themed episodes with the '90s Coen Brothers classic Fargo. Writer/funny person Jon Gutierrez joins me to watch the movie for the first time and discover that it isn't the wacky Weekend at Bernie's-esque comedy he expected.

Listen now to hear who Jon thought was loading up the woodchipper and discover his connection to the Coens' classic Raising Arizona

Follow Jon on Twitter and check out his writing and comedy videos here

Here's the trailer for the lost Sam Raimi/Coen Bros. collaboration Crimewave which looks insane.

And here's what Edie Falco looks like as Marge

Yippie-kay-yay, motherfather! Cartoonist Abby Denson is on the podcast this week to watch the '80s action classic Die Hard for the first time.

How will Abby react to watching Die Hard for the first time in 2015? Will she appreciate the velvety tones of Alan Rickman? Will she wonder why John McClane can't find a pair of shoes? And what about Argyle, the most underrated character in the Die Hard franchise?

Check out Abby's new book, Cool Japan Guide, and stop by the book release party if you're in the NYC area. Also grab Abby's previous books, Tough Love and Dolltopia, now available as eBooks.

Comedian and graphic designer Gilad Foss joins me this week to watch the John Hughes classic The Breakfast Club for the first time.

How did Gilad manage to avoid this Brat Pack staple? Will he relate to the gang or find them highly annoying examples of the downside of our current nostalgia craze? Listen and find out!

Follow Gilad on Twitter and check out his graphic design work. And look for his podcast, Superhero Temp Agency, in the spring.

G'day, mate! This week blogger/writer/artist Tenebrous Kate is on the podcast to watch 1986's second most top-grossing film Crocodile Dundee for the first time.

We marvel at the film's Terence Malick meets Beverly Hills Cop quality and wonder what kids would make of good ol' Mick Dundee today. Plus, we keep a tally of every large '80s cellphone (not many) and every dated joke at the expense of another race (several).

Follow Tenebrous Kate on Twitter and check out her Web comic Super Coven. Also just in time for Valentine's Day, grab My Dream Date with a Villain, Kate's excellent collection of fan fiction-inspired comics and stories.

Proof that Paul Hogan has always been Crocodile Dundee.
